All appointments begin with a consultation. You can submit a consultation request through our website with your idea, placement, and preferred artist. Once reviewed, we will reach out to schedule your session and collect a deposit.

We price our work by the piece or by half/full day rates, depending on the artist and the complexity of the design. We will provide an estimate during your consultation process before any deposit is required.

Black Lantern is a private, appointment-only atelier. We do not accept walk-ins. This ensures every artist can give their undivided attention to their scheduled client in a focused, quiet environment.

Get a full night's sleep, eat a solid meal before arriving, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours prior. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

To maintain the focused and serene atmosphere of our atelier, we prefer you come alone. If you need support, one quiet guest is permitted, but please let your artist know in advance.
