The Black Lantern Tattoo Atelier is growing in Waukon, Iowa—and we’re looking for talented tattoo artists who want more than just a station to work from.

We’re building a professional, artist-driven studio centered around exceptional artwork, strong client relationships, creative freedom, and long-term growth.

We’re looking for artists who are:

• Dependable, professional, and client-focused

• Committed to cleanliness and safe tattooing practices

• Proud of their craft and actively developing their work

• Respectful, motivated, and comfortable working as part of a team

• Properly licensed—or able to meet Iowa licensing requirements

We offer a competitive artist-first percentage structure with opportunities to grow, support through studio marketing, and the chance to help shape a rising tattoo destination in Northeast Iowa.

Established clientele is welcome, but character, consistency, and quality matter just as much.
